I agree that the show's death knell was run the moment Richard Dean Anderson quite since his character was so much part an parcel of the show. His unique brand of humour and the chemistry he had with the characters could not be replicated. However having said this the choice of Ben Browder was not a bad one in my opinion, he was great in Frascape, and managed to fit in in his own right fairly well. Although people's critique that he turned it into Farscape SG1 are not too far off the mark. Anyway the casting choice that I really really don't get is Beau Bridges. Why why why!? There isn't one scene he's in that I don't feel like doing a face palm when comparing his acting to that of Don S. Davis! Like I was saying above I'm not saying he killed the show, I'm not sure they could have done anything after the departure of Richard, but he certainly didn't help!
