As soon as they figure out a way to kill the ancients from Merlin's technology, the ori could do whatever they wanted.

well, extremely old Ancient knowledge downloaded into the brain of a primitive defeated the replicators (with the help of another race who iare still far behind the Ancients). I think the Ori would do pretty well
