I am thinking of buying the series and I was just wondering if there are any seasons I should avoid?

Babylon5 was pretty fun to watch during the lead up to the Shadow wars, but after that it went down hill fast.

Oh shut yer trap!

B5 got the ol' screw job and they were forced to resolve the Shadow War in like 1 episode and forced an awkward 5th season.

Don't believe the haters, SG-1 is a great show. Watch it all the way through, as characters, etc. pop back in constantly.

Don't listen to these guys. If you've caught the show on SciFi a few times (Monday nights especially) and you liked them, you're sure to enjoy the rest of the seasons because they are all high quality stuff. There is one season where Daniel Jackson is out, but its still pretty good.

SG-1 is one of the best sci-fi shows to ever appear on TV. Period. Their extremely high cable ratings prove why they're the shiznit! 😉

sg-1 is awesome, i highly reccomend watching it. everyone who i have gotten watching it has loved it.

No. ive seen them all and they all kickass.... just finished watching season 1 - season 6 with my wife the last few months 🙂

SG-1 is well written, well plotted (ongoing story arcs over years, not just the new planet of the week), and well acted. The first episode or two after the pilot is a little weak, after that it settles into 5 seasons of good tv SF.

I've seen most of the episodes. I haven't come across any that I didn't like.

IMO, its THE best scifi show ever, I could never get into any other scifi shows, but this one is good.

I TiVo'd 'Window of Opportunity' recently and watched. I couldn't stop laughing once they began the time loops. Man that was one of the funniest 'sci-fi' show episodes I had ever seen.
