I just saw part 1 of Moebius and it's the first half of the series fINALE??!? sadness

It was from the UK. SkyOne is currently ahead of both the American and Canadian markets in airing SG1. Canada is ahead in Atlantis though(they showed the season finale last week).

But anyhow, no, this isn't the series finale, it's the season. In fact, Threads was more of a finale than Mobius will be, since Mobius is the obligatory Atlantis cross-over, which due to the Atlantis plot, had to happen at the end of the season.

Reading the next season cast, without RDA the show is gonna be really boring I think. He was the glue that held the show together

This I agree with. RDA is going to be gone, and I guess the woman who plays Carter is going to be out on maternity leave for the first half of the season, so they've effectively jettisoned half the cast. TV shows simply get boring when they try to do the same thing with a new cast.

threads was bad ass, but now who is the bad guy? will stargate take the wraith problem now?

i just finished watching moebius 1 and 2. neat episodes, but they are more of a filler - something you would see in the middle of the season rather than the end.

Agreed, but like I said, they didn't really have a choice, the Atlantis crossover had to occur at the end of the SG1 season to coincide with the end of the Atlantis season(which apparently only SciFi is even airing correctly😛).

8 seasons in...really, it's about time for a series that didn't have a long plot planned (like Twin Peaks, Babylon 5, Farscape, etc.).
