So I got StarForce onto my computer while playing TOCA Racer 3. Upon reboot, BIOS could not detect any of my PATA CD-Rom drives. I have played with the Jumpers, set it on different IDE Channels, changed the wires, reflashed my BIOS, reset CMOS, and pulled out all my hair trying to get my optical drives working again. The StarForce removal tool did not help and I can't figure out what is wrong. My CD Drives work in other computers and used to work on my own until SF got to it.

Any Ideas?

I have been told that another company made a cleaner for Starforce. Try google.

Theres a few good-looking programs on the first results page.

I hope you remembered what your jumpers were set at. They really should not have been messed with.

EDIT: I dont care how much you love the game, dont EVER install one that requires Starforce. Its safer to just go without and find your entertainment elseware.
Starforce is bad, BAD stuff.
