starcraft in windowed mode?

i realize you can't properly change the resolution of starcraft, but can it be run in a windowed mode easily?

with D2 u can make a shortcut to the program file and then add something at the end of the path, i think "-w" to run it in window mode. see if that works for starcraft, considering the games are made by the same company.

i'm using version 1.12 as i play on battle.net regularly. that is for 1.11. i also dont have the required program to run it, so it just gave me an error

i just tried it, doesnt seem to work. i also tried compatability mode with locked 640*480 256color, that was a no-go too

just curious on why you would want to? if you're thinking of multi tasking while playing the game then you probably will get killed

why to check at while i'm playing sc of course! hehe, really though, to do other stuff at the same time, and the fact that it looks like crap fullscreen on a 20" lcd. i mainly play use map settings games, and a lot of those, once your set up, its a bunch of waiting for other poeple to get ready
