Starcraft II lag

I forgot to mention this before but ive remembered now, i was playing a game of "income wars" back when the beta worked and it got to the point where there was probably a few thousand battlecruisers on both sides fighting it out in the middle, everyone eventually left and it was only me however the game still lagged, it seemed like 1 frame every few seconds heh. However when i minimized my i7 wasent stressed much at all and GPU-Z said the maximum my 5850 had been utilised was in the 10% range.

What gives? Was it just battle.net? It was only me in the game by the end so noone else was holding it back.

you can still experience network lag even if you're the only player in the game

it's their sucktastic outdated engine that they recycle for everything from Warcraft/WoW to Diablo and Starcraft 2. Hardly much multithreading at all.
