Why I can't play single-player campaign offline?

I won't have the internet connection where I am going to. Is there a hack or something? I know there is. And I will probably use it too.

I just want to know your views on this subject.

2) According to ToS, I don't even own the game. Funny, isn't it?
 
It sucks, but that's the direction Blizzard is going in. Expect more of the same with Diablo 3.

I know you can play skirmish in offline mode, but I didn't know the campaign was disabled. That is lame.
 
Well, you need to log in to battle.net, before you can play the campaign, at least in my experience using the latest patch.

You reckon, Diablo 3 is going to mimic this as well? Hmm.

Daaaaark times are nearing.. the Lord must have awaken!
