Starbucks, if I could get back all my missed shots...

If I accumulated all the extra espresso shots I've paid for but did not get, I'd have a strong pot of coffee by now.

Yet again I ask for a triple grande vanilla latte, and 10 minutes later when its had time to cool off I realize this tastes like milk. Actually, this tastes like it only has 1 shot in it, not the standard 2 a grande is supposed to have. At least this time they didn't mark the cup for 3 shots so it was probably the person taking the orders that didn't relay the extra shot.

Oh well, they remembered the vanilla. A few times they forgot that too. :(

I never did figure out why Fourbucks got so popular. Their coffee products suck, their service is far from good, and the atmosphere...it's just corporate kitch.

Making up weird names for cup sizes equal higher pricing. Brilliant!

Starbuck rarely, if ever, misses her shot.

That's because she's frackin' angry. All the time.

Some of them have a decent vibe to the place. Personally, I found the independent places filled with couches and stuff to be a better environment.

Starbuck's coffee is bleh. I can get a better coffee for less elsewhere.

They do have good pastries. I still prefer the homemade goodness of a local place though.

I find their pastry selection lacking. :(

There are a few Carabou Coffees around here. They have a nice environment and I think their coffee tastes better, but they aren't as close as the starbucks near me and aren't as convenient to park at. If I had milk I would have just made my own latte at home. :p

instead of raising prices, these places just water down things and sell them for the same price.

that's how corporations win!
