kinda makes sense that the cold venti cup (plastic) is 24oz since you have to compensate for the ice so the customer gets the same amount of product.

but why is the tall/grande cold cup the same size as the paper cup? so you're gettting less product + paying for ice???

yes you do, i always ask for grande cup and ice on the side, then poor it yourself, i mean you are paying 2 bucks for something that costs more and even venti iced has less coffee than grande regular

I'm a Starbucks Barista; Next time you get an iced drink, look at the green lines on the cup. The beverage itself is only supposed to go to the top green line and the rest is supposed to be ice, its ridiculous. Always ask for light ice if you get a drink; you get more for your money and it's not a hassle at all for the baristas. As for the iced venti cup being 24oz, there's no real reason for it, although they do get 3 shots of espresso as opposed to the 2 a hot venti drink gets.

I hate them so very very much.
WTF is a vente or a grande tall. Why can't they just use Small Large Medium? WHY?

Dunkin Donuts coffee FTW!
