starbucks challenge

The challenge here is to go into your favorite/nearest starbucks and ask the counter person - -"What beverage do you have here with the longest possible name?", then whatever that person thinks up (It might not even be starbucks-lingo compliant, so you should bring a notepad or a good memory) then you need to order it (prolly don't have to, no one is checking, but it's all for fun anywho).

Mine was:
Iced quad decaf roomy venti 2% mint chocolate chip frapp over ice.

You'll note that I said iced and "over ice" and they did, infact, pour the iced beverage over whole ice cubes. Tasted like a really heavy chocolate milk.

Yes...I have nothing better to do at work.

it occurred to me today at work that some people go to starbucks just for the whole status thing and it being "cool" etc with the whole I want a triple whojamawhatsit thingamajig with a wackadoodle on top dealie
It's like a cult. So I figured, why not take it to to edge of ridiculousness and just ask the fellow at the counter for the beverage with the longest title.

Just brew a really strong pot of coffee, throw in a whole lot of Nestle's Quick and pour it over ice cubes. If you want to get fancy squirt some whipped cream on top. Much cheaper than the crap they sell.

starbucks is a very good example of excellent marketing

theyre just selling coffe, but they can get away with charging $3
