I was at Sams Club today and saw the purchase card for the Star Wars Kinect Bundle (you take the card up front to pick up the system) and figured "why the hell not?".
I saw it on X-Play a while back and it looked cool.
I've never had a 360, and only owned a PS3 for a few months. I have a Wii for me and my 5 year old (currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles), but I'm mostly a PC gamer.
It's a pretty sweet looking system, and the C-3PO controller is icing on the cake.
It comes with a cheap headset, but I don't need one anyway. The small poster is neat too. It features the two droids next to the system and controller that were designed after them. 🙂
I heard that the game (SW Kinect) sucks, but it was just the system and controller I was after. It comes with Kinect Adventures, we'll see how well that works. I need to research some 360 exclusives to see what I've missed on that front.
It has the bigger 320GB hard drive. Not sure what it's good for yet (my PC is my media center) but like I said, I had to have the R2-D2 console and C-3PO controller, anything else is just extra. Was it worth $488? HELL YES. 🙂
