God, the pity I feel for the guy who made that.

Somebody could craft a jet to look close to an xwing and actually fly. THAT would be cool.

I remember seeing this at the FAO toy store down there a couple of years ago. It was hanging topside down from the ceiling. Had I known it weighed 2000 lbs I would have been a bit more careful about standing underneath it :D

hot damn! I just checked my home owners association handbook and found nothing in there about not being able to have an x-wing fighter in my front yard.

now, for 40+k, i could probably get someone to make me a jet that looks like an X-wing. Lasers not included of course :(. How much for a light saber?

$40 grand and no bids!?!
Does he realize he'll get hit by ebay for a huge amount???
He should have set Starting Bid at 1 dollar and made a reserve for 40 g's.

But maybe some bone head with too much money will take it off his hands.

If you read the auction it says they were contracted to be made by a company in Frankfurt. They were made for a reason not by some dork. This one hung in an FAO Schwartz in Florida.

Oh, yeah, I'm going to drop a second mortgage on this thing when they can't even get a webhost that can handle the action :)
