I have my tickets for tonites Midnight viewing and about 15 of us total will be going to Universal Studios - City Walk to watch it. I got to wondering.

Will this movie break all the other previous Weds Midnight showings?? From the looks of it, it very well could do it.

It is SpiderMan2 has the current record??

Possible that this movie will break the weekend record too??

Sorry for postiung another star wars thread 🙁

I'll be there with about 10 others. Gonna get some drinks at the bar and then off to see some messed people who dress up like darth vader for the midnight showing.

Also record for stinkiest theaters ever...damn camping star wars hippies 😕

I'm gonna watch it tomorrow night 😛

I sure do hope it is worth staying up all night to watch it. I am dragging my wife with me and she has to work tomorrow morning. My wife will kill me if the movie ends up being bad. 🙂

Send her my way after she finishes with you. 😛

I've watched all of them on opening day, this will not be an exception. I'm watching the 9AM showing tomorrow.

no. I don't get out of work till midnight.

I guess I could leave early, but I went to the midnight show for episode 2 and it was awful. there were no empty seats and everyone was really loud/annoying. I could barely hear the movie. my sister is going tonight and invited me to go with her, but I declined. I'd much rather go to an early show Thursday morning, when everyone else is at work/school.

my roommate is going to wake me up at 9 am and we'll hit up an 11 am show.

I'm sure she would be way to tired by then 🙂

well one statistic on the news today is it's estimated over 5,000,000 people will dodge work thursday and friday to see the film, some back to back....costing american companies almost $630,000,000 in lost production.

glad Thursday just happens to be my day off 😛 my sister is taking a sickday, though, and since I work at an IT/tech company, I can't even fathom how many people are going to come down with a mysterious 24-hour flu.

you don't know if you would....???????

Anyway how many american's do you think are not going to take time off to see this movie the next two days?

I know of 5 right now, I told them it starts at 12:01 tonight on 5 screens at the local Muvico.

Too many people they said, I want to enjoy it. Probably right I am sure a lot of morons will have their infants with them for a post-midnight movie full of loud and strange sounds.

We tried to get the whole IS team there tomorrow, but at 2:37 hours that's about a half day...
