Nah.. seriously. Star Trek might be a good series, but why are some people so obsessed with it? They consider it a key component of their daily lives. It's just a TV show. Same with the Star Wars movies.

Agreed, Star Wars is inspired by medieval society and WWII weapon and war vehicles, it relies on "superpowers" and does not focus on or detail much of the futuristic technologies hence from a technology point of view Star Trek wins hands down.
