These guys in their prime, I think Anakin would beat the dark crap out of Maul, as we'll see in Ep. 3 how tough he is. When Vader is in the suit, how would the fight with Maul go? Strength vs speed?

The quote you need to look for is when Lucas talks about the Jedi combat in Episode I on the DVD. Watch the webdoc about battle. He clearly states that all the Forcers in the OT are weaker than those in the PT. He basicly says that in the OT we only see weak old men, young kids, and beat down half machines, and that in the PT he wanted to show the height of the Jedi and what they really could do. This implies that definitely Vader would lose to Maul. Vader would lose to Qui Gon or even young Obi Wan. In fact any PT Forcer would most likley defeat any OT character.
