That mean no Natalie Portman nude scene? 😕

not necessarily....I believe there was a nude scene in Titanic and that was PG-13...so there's still hope 😉

Look at the JAWS movies. I believe they are ALL PG!

They didn't have PG-13 back then.

Oh really....seems like there should have been something to differentiate that from PG though lol.

Nope, it went from PG to R until 1984.

On July 1, 1984, we made another adjustment. We split the PG category into two groupings, PG and PG-13. PG-13 meant a higher level of intensity than was to be found in a film rated PG.

"Brief Nudity" is allowed in PG-13. You saw alot of gratuitous boob shots in PG-13 movies when the rating first started out.

Does Jar-Jar die? Is he even in it?

I think most good guys die in this movie. This guess based on the original trilogy.

Jar-Jar did his part by making the suggestion that the head senator guy should have full control of the republic. So what good is Jar-Jar now?

Emperor: Well, why don't YOU lead us, Jar-Jar?

Jar-Jar: MESA? Lead the senate?

Emperor: No. No....No. No, No, No. No! No.

what are the US ratings?

in the UK we have:

Uc, Universal but intended for children.
U, Universal.
PG, Parental Guidance required.
12, must be 12 years or older to get in (no parent needed, just ID proof of age).
15, as above but 15 years or older,
18, as above but 18 years or older,

there is a higher restriction than 18, but films released on it can only be shown in cinemas with a certain kind of licence. Cant remember what it is, probably R or X.

G: "General Audiences-All Ages Admitted."
PG: "Parental Guidance Suggested. Some Material May Not Be Suitable For Children."
PG-13: "Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13."
R: "Restricted, Under 17 Requires Accompanying Parent Or Adult Guardian."
NC-17:"No One 17 And Under Admitted."

It's hard to compare nowaday ratings with those of the past. Watch Sixteen Candles and Clash of the Titans on DVDs, both are 80s movies with PG ratings. You'll see some of the nicest T&A shots.

But wouldn't that make him a bad guy, meaning he might survive?🙁

I'll let you figure those out for yourself!

I almost wonder if Jar JAr was added to keep EP 1 from getting a PG-13. Kinda makes it more kid friendly and the reviewers might ignore people getting chopped in half and such.

That said this movie looks like what Star wars should be. Maybe lucas will go back and completely change ep 1 and 2...again...and by change I mean rip up and burn. Although I didn't find EP2 THAT bad. Little boba fett pissed me off with his bad acting:

"GET HIM DAD GET GIM!"
"FIRE!!!(said in a WIERD voice"
"hehehehe(horribly faked evil laugh"

Lets add in the full uncensored Natalie Portman scenes from closer into SW3 and give it an NC17 rating...
