Star Wars Question

If Episode 1 was 32 years before Episode 4 and Obi-Wan was around 65 - 70-years-old in Episode 4, why is he like 20-years-old in Episode 1?

20 + 32 = 52. He was either a really old looking 52-year-old or somethings screwy.

Living in the desert will do that to you......................I have no idea how to answer your question I'm not geeky enough.

Also, being strong with the force wears away at your body. Emperor Palpatine's body had to be cloned-and-grown time and time again because his spirit was so strong with the force that it would literally eat away at his physical body. Palpatine didn't die at the end of Episode 6.

Because Alec Guinness is the man...but he looks old. He was about 55-60ish in IV, and hiding from Vader all your life has got to be stressfull 🙂

It's only the dark side that does that to people. It twists them.

take obi-wan as like 25 in episode 1. that puts him at 57 in episode 4, and alec guiness was just over 60 when he played the part, so its not that far off.

Episode 3 to Episode 4
