Nebor, lots of reports about the swoop races being buggy, the thing I did was not bother with the races in the end after a few buggy attempts,it`s not important to the story/gameplay.

The game was rushed in some areas but nothing you can do until the patch/patches come out,I`m just glad that stability is a lot better then the first one which kept crashing between load areas.

Update on my KOTOR2 game(very minor spoiler),I now have the handmaiden starting her training as a Jedi Guardian, she`ll learn the proper way from me ;).

The swoop racing was my favorite part of the first game. :( I'll wait for them to fix everything before I play it again. I can't imagine that anyone actually sat down and played this game through to test it without finding some of these bugs.

And the first game was rock solid for me, no crashes or major bugs.

Game has been very solid for me on stability, the annoying bug I find is the brightness setting not staying to my personal adjusted setting while in the game and everytime I load the game.

I agree there should of been more testing especially when all the bugs that were reported on the Xbox version,it`ll probably take awhile for the patch to be released since that will have to be tested for compatibility/stability etc...you know patches can break games as well as fix them so testing patches is an important factor ,especially with RPGs etc....

Just found a major bug on outside areas of Dantooine, talk about jerk a vision, anyway I got round it by playing with the AF settings in KOTOR2 options.

After awhile it happens again even when AF is off, weird thing is if you put your AF on or use any AF setting the game runs smooth for awhile, so you just have to keep playing with the AF settings when you encounter slow downs, only way I could get playable frame rates.

Two new reviews below.

Review@UGO.

In all, KOTOR II is a highly satisfying and rewarding game to play, if you have the time and commitment necessary to devote to it. Although it has some bugs, there is so much enjoyable and in-depth gameplay that any drawbacks are generally mild.

Second review,
Anyone in the industry will hear "12-month development schedule" and immediately grimace. You can't make a complete game in 12-months, not one of that scale, let alone one the size of KotOR II. It's not possible. So you get Jedi Knight II, a functioning game with mediocre content, or you get KotOR II, a broken game with great content that gets abandoned near the end.

Query: Are you using your DFI rig.
Assumption: The issue you have found is due to an ATi incompatibility, as has been posted on the internet, and the same issue I had (with my 9800).

I also found some little bugs, and a game stopping bug.

When you go to Nar Shadaa, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THE AIRSPEEDER. It may mean you miss certain key things, and cannot continue the story.

LOL Lonyo, your replies remind me of the way the assassin droids speak in KOTOR2. :D

I`ve been doing some quick research on Kriea,I did not know Sara Kestelman did the voice over until I look at the credits, she has been in lots of films etc... like Zardoz ,starring Sean Connery, she`s third from top, nice to have a face to the voice .

Man I stuck, I'm really lost in Nar Shadda! Where they hell do you go after killing the gangs in the camp. Ok WHERE'S the jedi???? I look in the dock bays and both cantinas and still no sign of our missing jedi.

LoL, it took me a long time to complete Nar Shaddaa. You should google for a walkthrough if you are truly stuck. I don't want to post any spoilers here.

Another new review@Gamershell .

I still must conclude that Knights of the Old Republic II ? The Sith Lords is a masterpiece. It is more than a worthy successor to the original game, and it continues the strong tradition that Bioware started with an epic space opera of morality and thought provoking decisions that affect the lives of both individuals and entire cultures.

You also need to be far light and a male character for her to join your party (i dunno if that"s your case so thats why i mention it )

I didn't like the ending, I mean what happens to your friends, why did I leave Mira on Malacore V?

A very dark ending. :music:Emperor Palpatine song:music:

unless there is a different ending depending how you play the game :p

*****spoiler

I was uber good throughout the game, had some influence on Kriea, she was slightly blue at the end, that is before she ditch me the bitch. After you defeated her a chat dialog comes up and she asks if you liked to know anything about the future and there you can ask "what happens to mira?" and so on questions about everyone.

Ending was kind of weak IMHO even after you went through all the possible dialogue question/answers part, however looks like they left it open for KOTOR3,we shall see.

Yes , when that ******* bitch left me she was equipped with a lot of my best equipement (Freedon Nadd short Lightsaber , the Hossus robe + 4 Cha + 4 Wis and upgreadable and a bunch of other good stuff) :(

And unfortunately , i saved after that and had no game to reload that was close to where i was.The closest game was 6 hour before .

Now on my 2nd run and as a dark jedi this time you can be sure that she will rot in the character selection screen lol.

New review@Prophecy .

Where KOTOR2 is going to hook you is in its depth. The intricacies of the plot, the lines and lines of character dialogue and development, the myriad of weapons, armour and items, the addictive minigames, the assortment of optional quests and the sheer polish with which the entire package is presented. It's nothing short of sheer class.
