I just recently saw this movie and I'm just now getting a bunch of the details straight. Alot of the plot from the first few EP 4,5, & 6 are really showing their heads. Such as The Supreme Chancellor becoming the evil Darth Sidious we all grew to love :))) in the older movies. Hell he even looks like the guy with a whole lot less wrinkles.

Also, Where Boba Fett comes from, I wonder if they are going to fit in Han Solo in episode 3 somehow?

Anyone else find a certain part of this movie particularly kewl because it filled in a gap left from EP 1 or 4,5, & 6?

Ohh another one, since Anankin Skywalker is apparently getting together with Senator Amadalla, that is where Luke and Princess Leya get their royalty claims.... yet another peice of the puzzle.

Another, the Republic becomes the Empire. In a battle at the end of AOTC, you see some of walking machines that the empire used to attack the rebels in Empire Strikes back. Hell, the republic soldier's suits even looks like storm troopers.

That's because they're the exact same actor. The guy who's playing Darth Sidious is the same guy who played him in the first series. The only thing is that he was 20 years old or so in the first one with heavy makeup. Now that they're doing earlier ones where he's not so old, his age has caught up to the age of Darth Sidious and they didn't use much makeup.

See? Kinda weird, but it's the same exact actor in all the Star Wars movies who plays the Emperor. :)

Neither would I have unless someone told me. Then I would have guessed it to people who didn't already know. Then I wouldn't really be guessing, but would just be pretending to guess so that they would think I'm smart. Then again, pretending to guess would be just like guessing to them if they didn't know any better. But, if I knew better it would be pretending to guess to me. So it would be half-guessing. I half-guessed and I was right.

:Q

Actually Ian did not play the emperor in Empire Strikes Back. I forget who it was, but they superimposed monkey-like eyes over the hologram to make him look freakier. And I believe that he was a lot older than 20 in Jedi, as the actor is in his 60's now.
