**Star Wars: Episode 3** - What's this thing I hear about Han Solo......

I just hope that its a rumor and not fact. Buddy of mine who regulars some of those SW forums was screaming at me today about this in disgusts.

Now i remember reading how he was in the empire's army/airforce whatever.

But a clone? that would be really dumb to do.

Well considering Han Solo's family heritage and childhood has been well established in the expanded universe, I don't think George Lucas will go against what the books say.
 
Sad part is that pre episode 2 this would have been dismissed out of hand as an utterly stupid move no one in their right mind would make.

Now it's inspiring serious debate :|

senior year of highschool, I cut school to go watch Episode 1 on opening day. I got five detentions for it; I'm still kinda pissed at George Lucas for making me waste that much time on the garbage that was Episode 1.
 
Han Solo was in training to be a pilot and the dropped out before he finished (or just after), if I remember right (The Han Solo "Trilogy).

boba fett had a history too, he doesnt care about the expanded universe except that it makes him more money for people to sell things labeled "star wars"

this movie is going to suck, no matter what, the level of suckage should be scary

You all did hear about how they are having Chewbacca speak in the movie correct? The script lists him as newage witty and intelligent or something. Then his vocal cords will be sliced by a light saber. This is such a terrible mistake, as everyone knows that Chebacca speaks the language of wookies, not some substitute for his real voice.
