I stopped giving a sh*t about Star Wars and Lucas after the first debacle, otherwise known as "The Phantom Menace."
 
Could be worse. (Star Wars, Part III: I could call this "It burns when I pee" and you geeks would STILL come see it... Suck it, G. Lucas")

I'll see it (though likely just renting the video) simply because it continues the saga. Was annoyed by episodes I and II.
 
I don't see what you guys have against the title. The original title for Ep. 6 was "Revenge of the Jedi", but the writers realized that the Jedi don't get revenge, hence Return of the Jedi. This is the perfect title for Ep. 3, whereas 6 was the fall of the Sith and the, well, return of the Jedi, Ep. 3 is when the Sith come in to power after losing to the Jedi in the Old Republic so many years ago.
 
I don't really understand why everyone is disgusted at the new SW titles?

I mean seriously, if SW: empire strikes back came out instead of ep III, how many of you would say "oh god, what a retarded title"

I am almost certain everyone would think Empire Strikes back would be a stupid name too. Now don't get me wrong, plotwise, 4,5,6 kicks 1,2,3's ass any day...but I think a lot of people are just jumping on the band wagon b/c so many ppl hate the new ep I, II, III.

Well, isn't that a good thing? I mean everyone is complaining how the new plots aren't keeping to the originals? At least his titles are keeping the same effect.

I mean, it could have been 'Clone Wars' or something. Sounds like some cheesy horror movie.

Oh well. Hopefully this one will be good.
 
Alot of artist, writers, filmakers, etc forget that once you create a classic it no longer belongs to you, but to the fans. Lucas got jealous and took it back, I guess.

I also hope I win the lottery. Doesn't mean it is going to happen.

Lucas has lost it. He is so proud and stubborn, he will not allow anybody to seriously help him with the story line and pace.

Attack of the Clones had its moments towards the end, but my God, could the movie move any slower and could it have a worse love scene?

I have seen better and more believable love scenes in "Backdoor Naughty Nurses in Heat".
 
Who cares about the title? With his current batting average, the movie will suck.

Lucas has unfortunately LOST his touch.

He's no longer a prodigy Director......just a CG hack. :roll:
