Star Wars Episode 3, is it the last to be made?

Well, I have looked on here on some past posts, and I have done some web searching. I have heard many rumors, andmany stories of the possible story of star wars. I heard one rumor saying Lucas will make a movie many years before The Phantom Menace, and have Yoda as the star. Also, Lucas has said he was planning on making 7-9...but has since said he will not make episodes 7-9. But if he once considred it, the idea for them are atleast in his head. Also, with the all of the money Fox has been making on these recent star wars movies....I couldn't see how they could let him move on with out making more. ANyone else here know anyhtinhg about this?

20th Century Fox doesn't own the Star Wars franchise anymore; Lucas bought it back years ago. TCF is just the distributor now.

Last rumor I heard was that Lucas is planning 3-D versions of all six films for release in a few years. Sounds very doubtful to me, but I suppose it could happen.

That's not really a rumor.

I've seen a 3D process that?s quite amazing. It's not like the 3D movie with lenses over your eyes and stuff; it's actually a different way of looking at the movie. I've never done it in 3D but in this process I've become quite a convert. So if we can get digital theatres, because it needs digital theatres for it to work, we will probably re issue all the movies in the theatres.

I heard he wasn't because george lucas is an ass who likes doing things his way where he makes a group of movies every 20 years with them being separated ever 3 years.... He realizes he will die by then so he doesn't want to bother with making the last movies...

Basically, what the link I posted says is that they're making an animated series along with a live action series, and there's a slight possiblility of making more Star Wars films, though that will take other 10 years of Lucas' life.

i dunno the serious kind of dies for me when they showed uncle fester to be darth vader when the mask came off...

all those years of being in awe of the evil guy and its like no disfigured face no evil creature

that and the fact all the bad guys seem to die so easy in a single short fight,

darth maul and general greivious fights and subsequent deaths should have been more spectacular and drawn out..and the anakin and obi should have suffered a lot more during the fights more of a knock down drag out fight.

i mean coem on general greivous was supposed to have hunted down and eliminated tons of jedis

Guaranteed they will make the "missing episodes". . . [certainly] after Lucas is dead.
