Star Wars Empire at War

It does'nt happen everytime I play but when it does, it happens in the middle of a game when in the middle of a big battle (I always play single player skirmish) and it pauses, plays, pauses, plays (1 sec between pause and play) This goes on for about a min and it then gpes back to normal.

Game is updated, I have the newest drivers for everything and Win 2000 is fully updated.

Anyone else get this stop motion type of game play in the heat of battle?

1280x1024 on a 19" monitor with all the options set on high. This should not affect anything.

That's weird. It runs great at max everything on my weaksauce laptop (p-m 2.26, 1gb ddr2533, x300 1280x800). Maybe you need to upgrade your drivers?

Sometimes I get this in space battles. Usually when you direct all your air craft to fire upon one single target.

Yea', like I said, it's not all the time that it happens, just sometimes. But it's always in a big space battle
There's a new patch coming soon (1.04) that may fix this.
