Star Wars: Battlefront 2

So I picked this game up tonight. Haven't even opened the box yet. is it good?
i didn't really care for the original SW: Battlefront, but maybe it was because there was only 1 game type that i could ever get it to play?

looks like this one has several different game types so i'm just not sure.
is there a demo for it? i can't seem to find one it was kind of an impulse buy because i really needed something new to play. had i known cod 2 was waiting for me at home, i wouldn't have bought battlefront 2.

I wouldn't even bother...don't open it and take it back for a refund. If you didn't like the first one, then why would you buy the sequel?

This game blows. Controls are shaky, models move shaky and animation is not smooth at all. Some maps end in literally 30 seconds. Game sucks. Put my copy up on ebay the day I bought it.

It's mildly amusing but I wouldn't consider it worth buying.

You're a fool for making a impulse buy of a mediocre sequel considering "you didn't really care for the original game."

Now that you've got COD2, why are you even considering opening this POS?

i didn't know it was mediocre when i bought it. i had this and quake 4 in my hands, i asked the guys at the ebgames i bought it at which they thought i should get and they said star wars.

the reason i didn't really care for the original was because it either had only 1 game type or i was only ever able to play 1 game type. i saw that the 2nd one had multiple game types (ctf, assault, conquest, etc) so i thought maybe i would like this one better since it had more game types.

again, if you'd read my post you would have understood that and wouldn't be here calling me names.

Hated the original... good thing it has a nice star wars box that can go into my wall of shame titles ( Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, Star Wars Galaxies: Total Experience, Jedi Accademy, Battlefront, Republic Commando ).

Hell will freeze over me thinks before someone can make a good Star Wars Multiplayer game. Galaxies WAS by far the best attempt to make it massive. Jedi Knight 2 : Outcast was the best attempt at making it as a small clan based game. Those days are over and after the travesty that is Quake 4, imho, If they (Ravensoft) make Jedi Knight 4... I won't bother to add that one to the hall of shame.

I dont understand why people post about games in this forum. Why not post in the official BF2 forums where there are people who've more experience with this game -I'll never understand this. Also, why buy a sequel to a game you didnt really care for? lol

You should have purchased Q4 over BF2 -did you really think it would be better, especially since you didnt like the original?

how many times do i have to say this? this is the lat time i'm going to say it and i will make it in large letter and make it bold, so maybe you can read it better.

I DIDN'T LIKE THE 1ST ONE BECAUSE I COULD ONLY PLAY 1 GAME MODE. THE 2ND GAME ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY MULTIPLE GAME MODES, SO I THOUGHT I MIGHT LIKE IT BETTER WITH DIFFERENT GAME MODES.

maybe you can read that and understand it...or not, as seems to be your way of doing things in this forum.

i returned the game anyway.
