Eh, there's a few good episodes scattered in the first couple seasons. But compared to the rest of the series they're definitely subpar.

Yes, Spike shows then in sequential order. I was thinking about this same thing earlier today on how these first episodes are really bad.

There are many good episodes in Season 1 nd 2
The Last Outpost
The Lonely Among Us
Where No One Has Gone Before
Hide and Q
Datalore
Conspiracy
Skin of Evil
Season 2 is when are introduced to the Borg.

I thought the first 2 seasons were the best. After that, all the characters and stories got really bland. The earlier seasons also were more creepy than the later ones. The turned Q into a goofball, and the Borg sucked after their first appearance, where they were actually scary.

I thought the enitre series was great. While the first few seasons don't have the best of episodes, I wouldn't call it trash either.
