Star Trek: The Next Generation

Thinking of Christmas gifts for a friend, and he's a Star Trek TNG fan, so I was thinking of getting him one of the Seasons from the show.

Which season should I get him?

Oh, and if you have ST-related gift ideas, feel free to pitch them : )

I'd say season 4 is the best tng season but it would be ass if he got a season in the middle as a gift. Does he have all the movies on dvd? they have a nice box set out now. Also voyager and DS9 are also out.

Overall, the show got better every season, watching 1st season shows looks cheesy next to an 8th or (9th?) season show

the season with the Borg cliffhanger was sweet, but to see the conclusion you have to get the next season, so I guess youd need to get seasons to see that one.

I'm pretty sure they had 9 seasons, maybe 10, I was really into it for like the 7th and 8th seasons. I think that was before Wesley Crusher left

only 7? I could have swore 9, maybe I'm thining of a different show. But anyways, whatever season it was right before wesley left, those were my fave, he was a favorite character of mine.

The X-Files went for 9 seasons I think.

That's why I liked Deep Space 9, Cisco killed an entire planet's innocent population in order to force someone's hand on another issue. Now that's captaining.

That show could have been sweet if they have a real Captain. Capt Janeway just plain sucked

Yeah...TNG was only 7....though it seemed like it was on for longer. 9 for XFiles? Man, these years have gone by WAY TOO FAST!

All good. 1 and 7 are the worst imo. 1 they were still testing with the formula and 7 they played around with the stories too much to try and save their sinking, or drifting, ship.
