1. How come Q didn't do anything during the Dominion War?

2. How come Q didn't send Voyager home in Season 1?

3. How come Q doesn't cancel the new Enterprise series?

"What is a Q?"
"It's a letter of the alphabet as far as I know!"

Exactly. He didn't solve feel like ending the war or sending voyager home. He's not a nun.

Sigh, what bothered me about the finale for TNG was every part of the space-time continum was messed up. Boom, they die in the past, present and future. Now here's Q at the end of time grinning over Picards avatar.

Honestly I think Q was a plot-device to explain the impossible and make ultra-trekkies messed up.

I took the episode where he was turned mortal and started babbling on how to reverse the force of gravity as a side joke.
Geordie: How do you do it?
Q: I don't know, just snap your fingers.

Souded like the Wizard of Oz more then a former omnipresence deity.
