Uh, you've never watched Star Trek have you?

Star Trek came first, beating Star Wars to the screen by more then 10 years, and with thing that SW didn't have: dialog, plot, story, morality. It didn't have the flashy graphics and big explosions of the original SW movies, but it was a much more entertaining show.

All three of the new SW movies were utter trash and are better compared to Ultraviolet or Uwe Bol pictures.

This does look promising, if release was supposed to be sometime in 2008 I would get excited, late 2009 is my guess since they have not even given one yet...


It appeared the space battlefield has 3 planes so it will be more space combat based then 2 D plane naval like combat that Starfleet Commmand series did.

I liked them and thought they were great. You weenies crying about the 3 new SW movies and JarJar ........ Cry me a river! :roll:

So you're comparing the Star Trek Tv show to the Star Wars movies? There is no comparison, SW wins.
Speaking of movies, Star Trek movies are decent and all, but nothing compares to Star Wars!!!

I think the ground shot is pretty ugly... the space one isn't too bad.

The biggest thing I like about this game is no levels, you fly a ship and blow shit up. Whats not to love?

The screenshots in space don't look too bad, though they're not up to EVE-Online quality. The ground shots look like they came from the 1990s..

From what I've read about the game, everybody is a captain with their own ship. The interview didn't address how people get new ships, or anything, but the bridge/command crew is AI and was compared to WoW's pets.

I'll probably try the trial of it like I did with EVE Online. At least it's a sci-fi/space MMO, and not another goddamn wow clone/fantasy/elves and orcs MMO.
