I just finished watching Star Trek Voyager Season 1 DVD, got it form an friend as a gift very interesting but not that amazing. Is it worth it to go and buy the second season?

Btw I own all 7 seasons of DS9.

I think you will like how the storyline develops. Plus, you need to see Seven of Nine.

Yeah.... 😀rool:

But it does get better later on.... Right now I am getting into Enterprise but Deep Space Nine is good too

Meh, the first season was pretty good. 2 and 3 weren't. Whatever season they picked up 7 of 9 was good, and from there on out it was decent. It went from like a 6 to a 4 to a 7 IMO.

If you can find them used or on eBay, I'd say go for it. I mean, it is Star Trek. I think the show got a lot better after season 3 or 4.

tell ya the truth, voyager was the only ST series I got into. a little too young for enterprise(1) and enterprise(2) I diddnt really like. I really enjoyed Voyager. Captain Janeway! woo woo!

Seven of Nine...what can i say. she can assimilate me anytime? 😛

DS9 is the best. I am really liking Enterprise too. Too bad they are taking it off the air after this season.

Agreed, I think voyager was underrated, and honestly, I liked the later episodes better (although janeway seemed to have multiple personality disorder from ep - ep in the later seasons).

I liked Voyager, and I liked TNG.

However, give me DS9 during the wars, and you've got GOOD TV there....

Ha, me and my friend said this all the time when the show was on the air. In one episode she wouldn't risk contaminating or hurting another civilization if it meant they would get home, but in the next episode, she would detroy a planet just because it bothered her.
