Good news for JRPG fans. First Tales of Vesperia, and now this. I heard a bunch of Japanese Xbox fanboys were writing a petition to block ToV release on PS3, much like PS3 fanboys doing the same for Devil May Cry.

I am sure they will be furious over this one too, since they will feel like they got shafted as beta testers while PS3 gets extra content, despite being a while after Xbox release.

I don't get how someone can cry about a game losing exclusivity. But then, I don't think I've ever been a "fanboy".

sounds like a good plan for the studios, wait for PS3 to lower price, get more audience and release. I'm sure some people will also buy another copy just for the extra content :)

That is good news, considering the dismal number of JRPGs the PS3 currently has in its library compared to the 360. I was disappointed to read that MagnaCarta 2 is also going to be a 360 exclusive. The playstation used to be "the" system for RPGs, what happened?

seriously, I hope they keep the J voices, I can't see why not with all that storage.

Like many games NISA brings over, they usually only had 1/2 the Japanese or American voices due to space on the PS2.

Well, looks like holding out for the PS3 version is turning out to have been a smart move...

The downside of getting the PS3 version will be that the 360 version will be sub $30 by the time the PS3 version is released and I'm sure this will be a full priced $60 game. Just my 2 cents

Star Ocean 4 is supposed to suck. Someone was telling me it runs on crappy engine that switches resolutions mid battle, and the story sucks too.

In gaming today if someone says exclusive, it means temporary. Remember that companies only mean what they say till they say something else. The day Square annouced FFXIII for the 360 and PS3 only defends what I say.

Uhh I never noticed that. The battle system is the best part of the game. The story is typical jrpg anime stuff and the english voices actually ruined the game for me. once that little girl gets in the party it is all over lol.

So much excitement, but is there concrete evidence that EITHER this or Tales of Vesperia are indeed coming stateside?

They can release Uncharted on the Wii for all I care, as long as it doesn't take away development time and resources on the PS3 version.

Love the game, not the system.

I'm still waiting to hear if Tales of Vesperia will be coming stateside also.. I'd sell off the 360 version I have if it was.

Wait, so I was right! I wasn't too sure, but the battles seemed to be at a lower resolution. I don't know about mid battle though.

But yeah, the game was pretty crappy. Only good thing was the battle system.

Did you read the freaking article? SO4 is confirmed, ToV not yet, but I would be VERY surprised if it doesn't land here.
