Working w/ a friend who is having trouble. He has starband. He is also an Ebay nut, more so than me !! And ebay loads terribly slow. Other pages work great.. ebay pages take from 1-2 minutes long to load up !! thats terrible when your bidding ! its pretty much just ebay too. I have checked everything out, and all looks good. We think its a problem w/ Ebay- read that they slow down things for people on high speed connections like star band. Except its slower than a modem ! pretty lame if you ask me. We bought 1 anonymizer program that hides from ebay what kind of service he is using.. works good.. ebay runs fast again. However, when using this program you can't bookmark things w/o it saving the www.anonymizer.com yadda yadda in front. This is a big problem for him.. he doesnt like having to turn this program on you load saved bookmarks.. there are some other issues he doesnt like. Is there any other of these anonymizer type programs out there that will help ? that dont screw up things like bookmarks.. are there any that dont have to integrate w/ IE ? he uses IE and Netscape.. are there any that are just backgroud programs ??
Please help, this guy needs his EBAY.. and needs it fast !!!
