Staples has Antec Formula 6 and Formula 7 (4g each) on sale this week for $3.99 ($6 off) and $5.99 ($9 off) respectively. For pricing comparison, Newegg sells these for $9 and $17, and Amazon has them for $9 and $13.55.

These look to be pretty decent Diamond Particle compounds, though some reviews say it's difficult to spread. The best roundup I could find that includes these two TIMs are at Hardware Secrets, though I am skeptical of their testing since their results of other compounds don't mirror the results at Skinnee Labs. TweakTown gives Formula 7 an 85%, showing results besting AS5 and MX-2. eTeknix shows both 6 and 7 besting MX-2.

I love the Formula 7. It sets quickly with cool temps.

It is kinda hard to apply, the trick is to warm it in water first, and use a razor blade to spread it evenly across. The pea trick simply doesn't work.

I have read that warming trick for another Diamond paste, so figured it would work with these as well.

I also found another graphic (Google cache) from testing on xtremesystems.org, though it doesn't show in the actual thread. It was hands down the best of the bunch.
