staples sterling communications v92 modem

I got the modem from the staples sale this week. It says it has the modem on hold ability. I can't seem to get the modem on hold to work. Anyone have it Work? if so, what's the trick?

I think that your ISP has to have v. 92 modem capabilities, which most don't as of yet, i can't even use the quick connect feature on mine, stupid msn :disgust:
