Staples Rebate Hassle Help!!

I bought a HD and CD-Rs from Staples. I just found out that the store put the ZIP on the rebate form. However, I send all my rebates to my parents house, since I am at college and move a lot. This kinda pisses me off. What do I do?

They put the Store ZIP on the rebate forms. I bought while I was on spring break. Staples cash register put the zip on the form, it was filled out when I left the store.

I am confused, will you not get the rebate because you don't live in that zip code?

Zip code is purely for researching target markets and advertising purposes.

So can I just mark it out and put my zip code? It is a $50 MIR. Really dont want to screw it all up.

As a staples employee, cross out the zip code and put your own.. i just sent out two MIR's and had to do the same thing.. no big deal
