staples pricematch /rebate question

Yes, never have any problem getting rebate with PM.

i tried to pm the visioneer 8100 scanner. staples.com said since they have an inhouse rebate, they are cheaper and wont pm.

I think to answer your question properly, if you are able to get a PM (on-line, probably not, B&M maybe), there will not be a problem with the rebate. The question is, will the B&M do the PM. I have 2 Staples in my town. One will pull the "we have a rebate that is lower than the PM" story. The other Staples doesn't care. A few months ago, I PMed a Predator External CDRW to $120 (after $30 off $150 coupon), sold it on Ebay for $170 3 days later, and got back $100 in rebates.
