Staples PM returns?

This is probably a stupid comment that has been addressed in the past, but hopefully someone will help me out anyway.

If you buy something at Staples and pay cash, then find it somewhere else cheaper, Staples will give you back 110% of the difference according to their PM policy. OK heres my question? Once they give you back your cash, what's stopping you from keeping the original reciept and returning the item back to Staples for the original price. What if you have a legitamate problem with the item or you really don't want to keep it? I know this sounds way too easy for people to get away with and I am sure it can not be done. But I was just wondering why?
