it's a error, works as 15 off anything

From rampart51 at another board:
"Don't bother using the xxxxx code for less than 75.00. The order will go through but then you will get an email from them saying the order is on hold unless you call them by a certain time or they will PROCESS THE ORDER WITHOUT THE COUPON!"

Or you could PM it to best buy for $19, and make $1 with just one rebate or $11 with the other $10 rebate on found by jwong on another deal site.

Got mine a couple weeks ago for $0.00 along with the Cendyne 32x12x40 for $20.00

100 CDR 30.00
CDRW 80.00
Total 110.00

Minus instore coupon $20, minus $20 rebate on CDR's, minus $50 rebate on CDRW = $20.00!

I think these are the same cdr's they have at Bestbuy for free after rebates. Sale ends this week I think.

I'll confirm that. Best Buy has 100 Philips for $19 and 2 rebates they print for you that total $19. You pay the tax + postage.

I think this deal may still be alive at staples.com. There's a $20 rebate from Staples mentioned on the product page itself, and supposedly the disks have another $20 rebate attached to the packaging. In fact, Staples has a dead link to a .pdf file on the product page which I think was the additional $20 rebate from Philips. (Does anyone have a copy of that .pdf file they can email me? IF so---please PM me). The Staples rebate is good until the end of the year, and supposedly the Philips rebate until 3/2003. Net = more free cds. Also good filler if you're trying to use a 20/100 or 30/140 staples coupon...

There is a Rebate (Philips) on some of the spindles, just make sure you grab one that has it. And yes, it is a different rebate than the Staples rebate.

I just price matched these CDR's at Staples. Best buy has them for $24.99 here in Spokane, WA. :D Which rebate (staples or phillips) will accept a copy of the original UPC?

Staples will accept a copy of UPC. Put a note on your rebate submision that the original went to the manufacturer. You may still get a rejection notice asking you to FAX a copy. Just call the toll free number and explain again that manufacturer got the original and Staples will now validate the rebate. I just went thru this last week-called and no problem.
