Posting it in advance allows those of us with little cash to plan ahead So, if I don't go grocery shopping, don't buy any beer, and walk to class, I might be able to save up some cash for something.

ACtually, posting deals early has one more advantage. With Circuit City (and probably Best Buy, too) having their price match plus that will refund 110% the difference up to 30 days after purchase. Say the printer is 300 now, if you know in advance that it will go down to 200, you can buy it now at CC or BB, then when time comes, you will be able to bring it down to 190 (300-110).

Secret Deal:

If you can find a store that still has ACT 5.0, many still do, you can buy it for .01. Then resell to make some money. The secret is that this is a disposal sku (happens a lot actually)....it is automatically reduced to 0 on hand in system inventory...so you must ask for it by name and buy some other stuff so no one gets suspicous. Peachtree accounting is a similar title where this happens. But most people send in the rebates so its free anyway.
