Staples Easy Rebate

Anyone else get screwed by the Staples easy rebate program?

During the Thanksgiving sales I ordered a ton of stuff from Staples.com relating to there rebate offers. I submitted them online by there easy rebate program. For the last 4 or 5 days I have been receiving emails from them saying "Invalid purchase date", when my purchase dates are VALID. I called customer support and the representative agreed with me that my purchase dates are indeed valid but there was not much this person could do for me.

So I emailed the easy rebate program to see if they can help me.

One thing is for sure, I am sending this stuff back if I cannot receive my rebates. This is not stuff I would usually order without some special offer. Can this stuff be returned to the store if I ordered online?

BTW, I checked for this topic but I could not find a thread relating and the only Staples thread was locked.

I had a problem the first day, e-mailed Staples via the Easy Rebates site and had the issue resolved to my satisfaction.

Sorry to hear you're not having any luck.

You can also find many threads about the BF Staples invalidations here. Don't know if solutions have been posted there.

Here's the phone number for the customer relations department in Staples office of the president: 800-338-0252. I called and made a complaint there because I couldn't get the Easy Rebates thing to work at all. I finally called Parago and they entered all my rebates over the phone. They all still say valid so I'm hoping that won't change.
