Citrix's low ink on the fax machine thread reminded me of a Staples commercial I saw last night.

It was an office setting and this guy is standing in front of a printer with the ink cartridge in his hand. He tells 2 other guys who are nearby that its low or empty. One of the other guys tells him to shake it, that usually gets it to work for a little bit longer. Printer guy picks up the printer and starts to shake the printer! the other guys just look at him with weird faces.

was so funny.

tried to find a link to a video of it but no luck.

I think it's funny because I could re-create the commercial every day at work if I wanted to and I don't even work in IT.

i guess maybe its only funny if you've ever worked in tech support

I thought it was great. I told someone at work to do that, instead of the cartridge she tried the printer (HP 4300-a bit bigger and heavier then the one on the commerical), so she kind of hugs it and tries to shake it. I always manage to bring it up in every conversation anytime I see her. I should ask her about the latest Staples commerical.

lol, if a 4300 is anything like a 4250 like we have here, those are big and heavy!
