Staples Clearance - Epson CX3200 $18.50

Yesterday afternoon the Staples in Randolph, NJ had 1 Epson CX3200 multifunction on Clearance for $18.50, MSRP $129. I bought it, of course.
They also had some large HP Deskjet marked down from $249 to $99, and a Sony Laptop (p4/2.66ghz) from $1299 to $699. There were other clearance items as well, primarily on the rear end-caps of the aisle displays. I haven't yet had the chance to check out the other local Staples by me, but I wonder if this might be a national clearance of discontinued products and floor models. Might be worth checking out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the CX3200 a really old model? It might be that they had one sitting in the back somewhere and they didn't know about it until recently. So this might be a one off thing. Definitely YMMV.

By the way, was this item new in box or a display model they were clearancing?

Yeah, that's a freak occurance. I work at the store in Toms River, NJ. We're one of the highest volume stores there is, and we haven't seen any sony laptops or the cx3200's in ages.

You most likely won't find that kind of stuff anywhere else.
