Staples used to -be- the s**t, now they are just s**t.

My "dedicated account manager" called the other day and a tore him a new one. Without coupons and no rewards they are *not* competitive anymore.

And as far as their ads these days "WE GET IT STAPLES, you make money on ink and toner"

What kills me is how close to the chest they are with their 2007 BF ad. Used to be a highlight of the year, no it's just a joke.

I'm wondering if the price on the Dell 22" monitor for ~$270 in this week's circ is a good one? I'm interested in getting either a 22" or a 24" widescreen flat panel model. I've already passed on the 22" Samsung because the reviews I've seen say it has a restricted viewing angel and marginal picture quality, and I'm basing my buying decision on picture quality & price.

Staples link to the Dell 22" monitor

Link to Microcenter HP 22" monitor

The local Microcenter has the HP 22" model for ~$330 and its supposed to have better picture quality than most 22" models but I'd grab this Dell if it's even marginally close to the HP's to save the $60 difference in price. Anyone have some input on the picture quality of these two monitors?

My thank's to Harvey for posting the weekly circular too.
