For some reason costs of brand name colas have really jumped up. Haven't seen any good deals in the local markets in a while, and wife is addicted to DC in a can.

So yeah, I'll be heading to Staples tomorrow.
 
I buy around 6k cans of soda a year for my dorm and the average price per can paid last year was $.19 so at $.21 this is a quite reasonable price. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a hot deal as Shaws tends to have 4/$10 every few weeks but it's still warm.

The best deal I've found in years was $1.33 for a 12pk of Cherry Dr. Pepper- 3/$10 with a doubled $1 mfg coupon. Best typical deal on Coke/Pepsi is 4/$10..same as this. Where are you getting them that much cheaper? 😕
 
Walgreens has 4 8pks for $10 (or 3 12pks for $11 where I am as these drinks don't come in 8pks here) this week and you get a coupon for $5 off any purchase at Walgreens. Good on Dr Pepper, 7 Up, A&W, Canada Dry, Hawaiian Punch or Sunkist. So that's about $.16 per can if you want to look at it that way.

 
I used to wait until I saw the 12/2$ or 24/4$ sales and just stock up big time. So that became my baseline for a good deal. However these days like someone else said above, that trend is changing for some ungodly reason and 12/2.50$ is the new baseline. Most of the time the national grocery chains have coupons for the best deals at the above prices...but lately it has been weird. So thanks OP I may just stock up on this one!

Anyone know if they carry the special flavors, like diet coke with lime?
 
I stopped buying coke, but a few times a year, the local Safeway will do a "Buy 2, Get 3 Free" for 12 packs of coke cans. I think that works out to $10 for 5 12 packs, or a little under $.20 a can.
 
5 for $10 or 5 for $12 is when I stock up. Normally I do this at three times during the year, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July as those are often when pop goes on super sale. At my rate of 2-3 cans a week 5 or 6 12 packs last me quite a while though I normally double up on the deals since lan parties tend to eat up alot of pop.
 
Since I work at Walgreens I'll just say that about 3 weeks ago we had 5/$11 on 12 packs of Coke. It was because of an instant coupon in our flyer which got you one free and they were already 4/$11. So yeah.. that sold really well.
