No such thing as an "easy" rebate  :p

Wrong, you should try a CostCo rebate sometime.

Buy stuff at CostCo B&M, rebate receipt prints out, submit the rebate totally online, receive check in 4 weeks.

:p

Not sure I would trust the I/O Magic's quality.
Is the Teon? brand DVD-R worth the rebate hassle?

when it says price - XX - YYeasy rebate is the XX the instant price drop or is it another rebate? Also does staples offer pricematching where you can buy it week before and it get priced matched later to the lower price?

If they're going to make improve the system they should just give instant rebates :)

Also, the list above didn't mention the FAR software. OP may want to add this in:

NSW Premier and the Laminator about the only two things that interest me. I have a shelf full of blank cdr's, cdrws, dvdrs and dvdrw's, I don't need anymore.

At the store I work at part time, I printed off the sale item list at bf2004.net so we can start prepping for the sale early. The corporate office is keeping a tight lid on the ad fliers because they are under the misconception that it is still a secret, so in order to get the info we need to be ready we have to go through unofficial channels.

What kills me is that Staples keeps it so close to the chest. Doesn't make any sense to me.

From the looks of what has been posted, the deals aren't anywhere near as good as years past and certainly not good enough to stand in line and freeze.

I miss the good ole Black Friday days at Staples where you could stack coupons and get a lot of stuff for free, or in some cases get paid to buy it.

Since the only big name electronics store we have locally is Staples, it is a big disappointment this year. Although we still have some excellent stories from years past. Like the year the lady drives up at 10AM as we were loading stuff up and asked if they had any of the $150 LCD monitors left (They were gone within 1 minute, literally) and the best part is she was serious.
