HINT: give them your real address (work too, and Dad :)), and sign up for all their business rewards (gf = teacher rewards) programs...plus all the catalogs you sign up for (or just get) have coupons on the back cover...and sign up EVERY email address you have (vary your real name a bit)...

just be an OM/Staples ho in general :D

EDIT: hey (HomeAppraiser)....buy my McAfee 2007....link in my sig :)

In days past Staples coupons grew like mushroom under a teenager?s bed, these days they keep them on the shelf by the Hen's Teeth.

Ever since Staples reverted to the longer, personalized coupon codes things have gone downhill.

I can share this though. It appears they may be using the Best Buy model in trying to ease their 'Devil Customers' off to their competition. I suspect most of us here would be considered those type of 'Cherry Picker Shoppers'. We all like to get a deal, heck that is why a lot of us visit this forum.

I can pass along this nugget. I have one main E-mail address I use for Staples. It is associated with my Dividends card, etc. I rarely get any decent marketing material (Coupons, special deals, etc.) on this account.

In addition, I am signed up their mailing list with 31 other E-mail accounts. I also have several friends signed up with multiple accounts.

The pattern we see, is well, no pattern. It seems to be a crap shoot on who gets the coupons and the amount of said coupons. The other day, on one account, and one account only, I got the Trifecta of coupons. It was a $10/$20/$30 coupon. These are very rare indeed.

The account that is tied to my Dividends cards very, very rarely gets anything decent. Looking at last month, I used coupons to reduce my costs about 32% on that account and that is probably why.

So my suggestion for coupons is to put out a large net and hope a jewel gets stuck every so often. Gmail works great for having multiple accounts that you can check via POP3.

Good luck.
