It sounds good on paper, but if you look over their Microsoft offerings, it's really not all that. They do have a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for $15 after the coupon. That's all that looked interesting to me.

well you can probably get it shipped to store for free. thats what it was like a couple weeks ago for me anyway with staples online.

im gonna have a looksee

edit: microsoft mobile mouse 4000 and 6000 are on sale. the 4000 is only $15 after coupon, and the 6000 is $20 ac. they are first-class mice but really thats only $5 more then normal anyplace else you look. a good deal but not worth the $5 to drive out of your way for it.

Make sure it has decent range. I picked up, I believe, a 6000 series wireless MS keyboard and mouse combo that used RF. Beyond 8-10 feet it was worthless. I then picked up a Logitech bluetooth set off ebay for about $50 and can use it from the other side of my house.

I've been wanting a wireless keyboard for a couple years, but didn't want to spend over 30 bucks! THanks OP!

Will do. Thanks for the heads up. Specs (as much as they can be believed) say rf transmitter up to 30 ft. As my couch is eight feet away from the computer, I will assume it should work.

ive noticed they make rf keyboards and mice in two different ranges. the first is 3-10ft and is intended to be used in a office full of similar devices. the others are 30ft+ and are intended more for media/special application use.

THANK YOU for clarifying that! ill buy one tonight for instore pickup. i bought a mobile mouse 4000 for $15 the other day, and it absolutely smokes any mouse ive ever had (and ive had good ones). that blue led tracking they use is brilliant. it works so damn well you forget its optical.

cant wait to get this. i think i might sell my presenter mouse 8000. nice mouse but its a battery suckin piece of shit. batts last 2 weeks. thats even too fast for rechargeable, its just a pita.
