Found a staples coupon on one of staples sites, so it should be ok to post here:
http://prefctr.ddc.dartmail.net/Staple/def...349876313852620

Offer expires 5/8/04. Valid in store only. Limit one per customer, nontransferable. Minimum purchase requirement of $20 must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon. Coupon must be surrendered. No copies/facsimiles. No cash/credit back. Not valid on purchase of Gift Cards, postage stamps or prior purchases. Tax not included in calculating minimum purchase.

I found this over at Dealtaker: here: http://www.dealtaker.com/invision/index.php?showtopic=4752

You have to go to the other link, AT's software truncated the full link.

You also have to piece together the link you get through the other forum, apparently when a link wraps there, it inserts a carriage return.

I was able to build the right link from the linked thread and print out a copy that should be usable.

I was in a Staples, today, using a $10 off $40, and the cashier, mentioned, that a lot of the $10 off $20 are fakes, circulating on the net.

Enjoy the day,
Raymond

It's prolly is fake. Tested it online and got the message:

Coupon 1

We are sorry. This coupon cannot be applied to an online order. Please remove it from the field below and use it on a store purchase.

Thanks for the heads up. Still worth a try though.

Look at the text of the coupon in the above link.

"Valid in store only."

Probably won't work online if it's B&M only.

Could edit the thread title to reflect B&M only maybe, I find printables more useful, since I live close to a Staples.

You're doing fine, was just a friendly suggestion, hard to convey that tone in plain text.

Welcome to ATHD.

There is a chance that the thread will be locked, since the URL is not within staples' domain, but looks like a solid effort from a newcomer.

I remember that Staples coupons were always hosted on other domains? Or was that OfficeMax coupons were somtimes hosted on other domains too?

Did you try it a B&M store? Cause a friend of mine used it today. Also how will I know if a code or coupon can be posted? I just don't want to break any rules here

They wouldn't accept it for online orders, or at a physical B&M store?

If this site truely is the official Staples online coupon site, then they should accept that coupon. Was the code in their system?

Ok so if it is from an official site like staples or OD or OM then I can post it? I am not trying to be silly I just don't know how to tell the difference. I am really new to this. Sorry if this is a stupid question

This is a fake coupon. The base URL is legit but people have been modifying certain parts of it to change the expiration date and coupon number. It's been around since last year.

it's probably fake but many staples cashiers will take it. Just trick yourself in beliving it is real before you take it to the store.

Over at Chubby Wallet in a similar thread the coupon code is in the link and appears to be a 1X use coupon code that already has been used. I printed the coupon out at work and was going to stop by on my way home. Decided it was pretty much useless and went straight home.
