Hi guys, I need some help here.

From time to time, Windows claims that some of my extra hardrives are not formatted, and asks is it should format them. If left alone for a couple of days, they usually return to normal without any action on my part.
I have tried unplugging the CDROM drive, and that seems to help, so I suspect my poer supply is inadequate.

Here is my setup:

PSU Chill 350 watt - Chill should be a good quality brand.
MSI 665PE FIS2R mainboard
Radeon 9800 Pro for graphics - with a Zalman cooler
1 gigabyte RAM
10 Gb IBM Deskstar harddisk
8 Gb Maxtor Harddisk
80 Gb Seagate Harddisk
LiteOn DVD burner
USB Hub - powered by USB, but the only thing connected as a Logitech Joypad.

Unplugging both the DVD burner and the 10 gigabyte disk seems to correct the problem, but my rig still seems unstable. However, this is mostly when I play Civilization 4, the most buggy game on Earth. This might

I would like to hear your opinions. Do I need a better PSU?

Sounds to like one of the hard drives is starting to fail, those are some old drives. You should run the mfg diag on each of the drives.

Forgot to tell. It happens to mostly the IBM and the Seagate harddisks. I have run the manufactureres diagnostics programmes, and they report that all is fine.

Are all the drives NTFS? What does windows event viewer tell you? For now, try running chkdisk on each of the drives during reboot.

I found the problem. One of my RAM blocks was faulty. Strangely, the only thing wrong I ever noticed was with the drives.
