Standby problem

The problem is when ever i try to get my computer out of standby it works it freezes. This forces me to not use it. (but i would like to) It goes into it fine but when ever i try to take it out it freezes. Any thoughts?

Don't let it go into standby, the energy savings is minimal anyway. The best setting to save energy is "turn off monior after X minutes". Other than that, make sure everything is set to "always on" in power properties.
